The management of Savelovo plant met the delegation from the Federal Republic of Nigeria headed by the Ambassador of Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Timothy Mai Shelpidi and the Minister of Trade, Investments and Economics Onesimus Yanya Atanze 2010-02-09

On the 5th of February 2010 the meeting took place between the management of Savelovo machine-building plant (belongs to machine-building division of Borodino Group) and the delegation from the Federal Republic of Nigeria headed by the Ambassador of Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Timothy Mai Shelpidi and the Minister of Trade, Investments and Economics Onesimus Yanya Atanze.
The visit was of a business nature and was targeted at the establishment of long-term business relations with SMZ. In course of the visit the guests had the opportunity to see the strong production base of the enterprise, to get acquainted with innovative technologies and to discuss the aspects of possible would-be cooperation.
«The Federal Republic of Nigeria in interested in the development of long-term partnership with Savelovo plant, mainly in the sphere of gas and oil equipment deliveries, establishment of mini energy complexes for power generation in the remote regions of the country”, Onesimus Yanya Atanze said.
The representatives of the delegation showed great interest in the manufacturing of food equipment technological lines, operating at the at Savelovo sites.
«We are really interested in the purchase of juice and water bottling equipment, as Nigerian agriculture is one of our government’s priorities” Mr. Onesimus Yanya Atanze emphasized.
The members of the delegations made short reports on the results of their visit and emphasized their extreme interest in cooperation. All the attendees considered that business visit as the intention to set up systematic and mutually beneficial work in all the above-mentioned directions.
